Accommodation
Leahy Music Camp takes place at Lakefield College School (LCS), an independent school located in Lakefield, Ontario Canada.
Residences are designed with 2 beds/room, so we offer shared accommodation. If participants don’t request a specific roommate, the Camp office will assign people of the same gender and similar age to the same room. Upgraded accommodations and single rooms are available at an additional cost.
There are three different accommodation options at Leahy Music Camp:
- Standard Rooms/Dorms – participants share rooms in regular dorms and share one multi-fixture bathroom per floor. Suitable for individuals, couples, and families.
- Cooper Residence – participants have their own room and share one bathroom with one other room/participant. Limited availability.
- The Uplands – participants have their own private room and bathroom. Limited availability.
LCS provides bedding & pillows for each room. Participants should bring their own towels and other toiletries.
A curfew of 11:00 pm is mandatory for all participants. No visitors are permitted in rooms after 11:00 pm. Overnight guests from outside the Camp are not permitted. Residence rooms are not locked, so if you have valuables you’d like to secure while at Camp, you are welcome to bring your own combination lock and use one of the many lockers in the school.
Cooper Residence is air conditioned and set up with one bathroom between every 2 rooms on each floor. This semi-private option allows people to have their own room and share one bathroom with one other participant. Staying in the Cooper residence includes an extra $160.00 charge in addition to standard Camp fees.
The Uplands residence is available for participants who would like their own room with a private bathroom and air conditioning. Uplands offers 14 very comfortable rooms and can be booked with single or double occupancy.

Staying Off-Campus
For those wishing to stay off-campus and close to the Camp, there are a number of options. The Village Inn in Lakefield has a block of rooms set aside for Music Camp participants – identify yourself as an attendee for a discounted rate (available until June 1st). The Burleigh Falls Inn is 20 minutes outside Lakefield on the picturesque Burleigh Island. Lakefield Campground is another option in town, and Trent University offers affordable accommodations about 10 minutes south of Lakefield.
