Vision and Mission

The heart behind Leahy Music Camp

The Leahy Music Camp aims to serve the musical gifts and aspirations of students and professional artists alike. The hope is that this will help feed a strong culture of music in communities everywhere.

These goals are built on the Music Camp’s mission:

  1. To give aspiring artists and musicians opportunities to develop and share their gifts.
  2. To support professional artists and musicians by giving them opportunities to work and share their craft with others.
  3. To promote arts and music in the wider community by supporting the people and institutions through which music and art is created and shared with others.

Leahy Music Camp started as a response to numerous requests for lessons in the music and dance of Leahy. The Camp is rooted in Celtic traditions and shaped by the modern styles of today.
